Mounted Squires

Younger sons of noble houses and prosperous merchant families fill the Mounted Squires, a light cavalry unit for Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. They have ridden and trained since boyhood, though none has won a knighthood yet. Their noble patrons favour them, sure that good breeding and saddle time beat any sword bought for coin.
