Shaman

Nords armies do not lean on magic the way some factions do, so the Shaman fills a narrow but useful role, propping up a chosen unit with wards against melee or missile fire rather than throwing offensive spells around. In Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings he is a cheap way to add staying power to a favoured regiment, often slotted into a unit of Ulfhednar to help them survive.
